Proposal for
‘Train-the-Trainers’ Chess Training Workshop
(Self Employment Opportunities for Youths)

Chess is an exercise of infinite possibilities for the mind, which develops mental abilities used throughout life, the goals of attack and defense, culminating in checkmate inspire us to dig deep into our mental reserves. Studies have shown that children who participate in Chess are more likely to succeed as adults.

We look at Chess as a learning tool. If we all work together we can create Job opportunities to 100 youth in two years. (Read Chess a Learning Tool).

Empower youth with Chess Knowledge. The youth can start his own chess class and get self employed
This workshop will be useful to Youths, Balwadi, Shishuvihar, KG, Primary school teacher

Resource Person for ‘Train-the-Trainers’ workshop
Shrikant Barve Commerce Graduate age 50 having over 30 years experience in Chess Activities have given chess guidance to over 500 students.

Shravan Barve Mechanical Engineer (Diploma) Has won various chess tournaments in Goa. Chess coaching experience of 4 years.

You have to arrange
Hall (Tables and Chairs)
Computer and LCD Projector
Participants can be Unemployed youth/ Unemployed youth/KG/Primary/Secondary school teachers, Higher Secondary students/house wife’s
Maximum 50 Participants for the class

We will arrange
1. Chess Sets, Chess Clock, Demonstration Board, Chess Software,
Honorarium to Resource person (3 person) (5 days) = Rs. 15,000/-
Study Material (Rs.50/- per each participants)

You are free to charge fees from participants.
